  2. Authentication

What is the two-factor authentication (2FA) ?

Dual authentication (or two-step verification) is a method of authentication used to allow a user to log into a computer resource in a secure manner. It is an additional form of security that is strongly recommended by financial institutions and by Kaira.

Please note that if you have activated this option with your banking institution, you will be asked for it every time you want to synchronize your institution with the Kaira application. In the verification process to get past the security of accessing your institution, you will be asked to verify your identity via text message and/or a security question. Sometimes you may not have to provide any confirmation.

In order for the login to be completed optimally, you have an average of less than 10 minutes to answer the identity questions, depending on the financial institution's specifications.
